Attending an Event at The Charleston?
We’re delighted to welcome you! To help make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, here’s some additional information that may be helpful before you arrive. Whether it’s your first time visiting or you’re returning for another unforgettable event, we’re here to ensure everything goes seamlessly.
Parking information
Guests may park in several convenient locations: along Commonwealth Avenue near the front entrance, in the lot behind the building, or in the parking structure located behind the post office at Pomona and Commonwealth.
All guests will enter through the front doors on Commonwealth Avenue. Please note, this entrance includes a staircase. For those requiring elevator access, we recommend parking in the lot behind the building near the patio of Bourbon Street Bar & Grill. Guests can enter through the double glass doors labeled “The Bowery.” The elevator is located in the foyer and will take you to your desired floor.
Please disregard the “pay for parking” signs around the lot—parking is free for guests arriving before 9:00 PM. If arriving after 9:00 PM, please follow posted parking payment instructions.
ADA Accessibility
The Charleston is proud to be a fully ADA-accessible venue. Please note that there is no elevator access on the Commonwealth Avenue side of the building. For guests who require elevator access, we recommend parking in the lot behind the building near the patio of Bourbon Street Bar & Grill. Enter through the double glass doors in the back of the building marked “The Bowery,” where you’ll find an elevator located in the foyer. This provides convenient access to all event spaces on the second and third floors, ensuring every guest can enjoy their experience comfortably and safely.
